Bio
JANE POLLAK New York was born out of the onset of the 2020 pandemic. Jane sewed her first pillow design during a workshop on Penny Rugs at the Guilford Art Center the weekend before the shutdown. With enough material to craft a second pillow and a locked-down New York City, Jane began creating these cushions for her own home, family and friends. Soon after, she was encouraged to create an Etsy shop. The demand grew from there.

Pollak is well-known in the art world for her highly sought-after business, An Egg by Jane, for 30 years, which she founded and operated from 1973 – 2003. Featured on The Today Show and The New York Times, her work is part of the collection of the Smithsonian, and she was a popular guest on HGTV and CBS News.
